Original Wares is a showcase of work from me, Gavin Wares. Specialising in still photography, I try to capture moments in time; views, scenes and stories to share with others. My aim with any photograph is to capture the crux of an instant as honestly as possible thus creating a dynamic visual experience allowing the viewer to relive that moment. 

I have spent the last five or six years devoting myself to photography having previously studied architecture and working in a variety of jobs in Scotland and London. I bring a range of lessons learnt from these experiences to my photographic work. Much of my work is based on my love of adventure and travel, the outdoors, surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and the people I’ve met along the way. I have also worked with a variety of clients in a range of settings to produce formal portraits, event and venue photography. 

In a world full of digital mass production I think it is important to recognise the creative value in craft, quality and exclusivity. As a result all Original Wares photographs will be limited to a maximum of 20 numbered and signed high quality original prints. I am open to collaborations and all requests.
